Yay! I'm back. I had the whole afternoon to craft away. And it was fabulous. I'm putting together sets of cards, which will be given away as a prize at a shower. A lucky winner will get to take them home.
This is a series of thank you cards. They went together really easy. I used my favorite cartridge Doodlecharms to create each of the "sweet" items. I also used a variety of stamps, and a ribbon accent.
The kind of busy where you don't have an extra minute to make crafty things.
In the upcoming month, I have a shower, bachelorette party, and a wedding. This means crafty, creative things are coming. I'll make the time.
I'll post pictures.
You'll visit my blog.
You'll leave me oodles of comments. And I'll love it.
I promise. :)
Thanks for continuing to visit my blog, even though I haven't posted anything new in a while. I hope everyone is enjoying the summer and all the fun that it brings.
I designed the following graduation open house invitations for one of my mom's co-workers. I vectored the trojan, which turned out rather nicely. I have the personal information blurred out for privacy purposes. The typeface I used was Bergamo SmallCaps, which is one of my favorite fonts for invitations. I think it has an elegance to it, without being overwhelming.
I created this save the date card which was sent out for a couple's shower being held for my brother and future sister-in-law. It's all vectored artwork, but the actual invitations were handcrafted.
I made the following cards for 3 different sets of 4 cards, that are going to be prizes at a bridal shower. Each set has a birthday, thank you, baby, and wedding card.
This project was done for my college roommate. Although she's not "technically" my family, she might as well be. She's my "sistah from anotha mistah".
Tomorrow is the going away party for my college roommate who is moving out of state. I volunteered to make her a "going away" album. Guests have been encouraged to bring their favorite picture of themselves with Melissa, and they'll also be invited to write a message of good luck to her for the book. There are over 60 people coming, so I had to make a lot of different spaces for writing, and pictures which I don't know the size of yet. That has proven to be a little tricky. I hope that I have enough space.
Even though she's getting this tomorrow, I'm too excited to wait to put pictures up. I hope that she loves it!

Just some creative chicken scratch.
Enjoy my explorations into all things crafty and creative. Rubber stamping. Embellishments. Cricut. Cooking. Fun. Girly things.
