1st Birthday All-Star Invitations

My sister-in-law asked me to make the invitations for my nephew's 1st birthday. She picked out the decorations, which look like this:

Based on that look I came up with this:

I had a great time making them. It's the first larger order that I've done repeatedly of 1 design. I had a nice little production line set up this afternoon.

Baby Card

I was packaging up the crib note magnets for Natalie and Derek, when I realized that I hadn't made a card to go with it. What was I thinking?! So I quickly whipped up this little baby onesie card.

Crib Notes - Babysitter Magnet

Congratulations to Natalie and Derek on the birth of their beautiful baby boy. What a blessing! As a little "congratulations" gift, I'm sending them this set of magnets for their refrigerator. They both have been laminated, and will act as dry erase boards.

The perfect little helper for a babysitter! :)

First Friday Breakfast Conference

Each month, two of my friends and I meet before work for breakfast on Friday morning. We catch up on our lives, share funny stories and enjoy an egg sandwich. We typically meet on the first Friday of each month. Sometimes we have to reschedule due to schedule conflicts, but we generally plan on a "First Friday Breakfast Conference". I would highly recommend adopting a similar plan. It's such a great way to end a long work week, starting off your day with laughs from dear friends. Is there a better way to end your week?

Exploratory Creations

So last night I spent a few hours exploring my new Cricut. There are so many possibilities, that it can be overwhelming! I came up with a few cards. I'm sure in a few months I'll look back at these and laugh at how simple they are. I'm still getting the hang of it though.

Baby Announcement

Our friends had a baby last month. A healthy beautiful baby boy. It's been an exciting experience to journey with them through the pregnancy. They asked me to design the birth announcement, which they sent out with their Christmas card. It was an honor.

I also designed the following card, which I sent them when they first announced they were pregnant. I used the vectored baby image on different materials throughout the pregnancy. The baby was kind of their "pregnancy logo". You know you're pretty cool if you have a logo for your unborn baby. :)
